Ivy House

While on the more expensive range of locations in Cartagena, Ivy House lived up to all the expectations and more. We had an amazing time. The place is located in the heart of the old city and has all the amenities you would need for a bit larger group. The staff and the host were all incredibly helpful and very responsive for anything we needed. Can only recommend!

We came to Cartagena for the first time for my husband’s bday with a big group and stayed at the Ivy House. It was a great place for a group since the location was very central to all the restaurants, bars, coffee shops and historic center!! The staff and security were so nice and amazing the entire trip. We used Cartagena Services with Nikki and Wendy who planned everything for us smoothly. They planned all the details from arrival to lunches, dinners , boat excursions, bar and club reservations , salsa dancing, rum tasting and decorations. It was a great experience and we will never forget how much fun we all had together in beautiful Cartagena!! We will definitely recommend this place for anyone who is coming with a big group and wants to enjoy this lively city!!

The house was super clean and amazing. The staff went above and beyond. The owner of the house was helpful everyday. I bothered him weeks before my trip and he responded and was helpful. The location of the house was perfect. I would def recommend this house

Beautiful house! Perfect for a large group. Best rooftop in town! The staff is available 24hrs. A day for anything you need. The decorations is also a highlight! You can walk anywhere from the house. Will definitely be coming back!!!

This is an amazing place to stay for a large group. The whole place is set up for a fun party weekend! The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable, and the roof is a stunning place to relax. It was right in the center of things so everything we wanted to do was walking distance. The staff were extremely thoughtful and helpful. There is a lot of night life so it’s perfect for a great party but it’s a tad loud if you want an early night. That said, we had a wonderful time and the food that was cooked for us was delicious!

Living accommodations are a key part of any travel experience, and this was our third stay in Cartagena—exceeding expectations. The location is perfect, central to everything. The home is stunningly unique, with rare amenities like hot water, great water pressure, A/C, butler and cleaning staff. The location felt very safe . Thanks to Robert along with is partner, the security guard, who was not only helpful and fluent in English but also well-connected—he even introduced us to the Mayor of Cartagena! Whether arranging top-tier transportation or on-demand massages, he made every request a reality. Daniel and Robert truly elevated our stay. Daniel and Robert went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. Chef William also deserves a shoutout for his delicious, flexible, and personalized dishes. This property is ideal for groups, reflecting Daniel's evident pride and attention to detail. This experience ranks among our top three trips of all time—highly recommend!

This Airbnb is truly beautiful. Honestly the pictures are great but the reality when you arrive space is even better. Palatial bedrooms, incredible roof set up. The staff is amazing and extraordinarily helpful, and will take care of everything for you, even setting up and making delicious breakfasts. The owner is communicative and has great recommendations! Location is central and walkable to everything in town.

Ivy House is good for a large group given the amount of space, private bathrooms, and communal space. The rooftop is a highlight and especially beautiful at sunset. The staff are super helpful and accommodating. Given the location of the house, be mindful that it will be very loud at night (bring earbuds). Also, there is a 24-hour doorman but guests do not have access to the door code to let themselves in.
