I’ll be honest, if you are reading reviews trying to decide on a place, you’re in luck!!! You have found it!! This is the place you want to be, it checks off every box! Amazing home, super clean, steps away from the action and culture yet at the same time private, peaceful and secluded and can’t forget the included daily breakfast, delicious! I will DEFINITELY be back! Also, I must give a huge thank you to Madeline, she is the house keeper who was truly one of the greatest parts of our vacation. Always attentive, always punctual and always went above and beyond! VERY grateful for her and look forward to her being our house keeper when I come back!

Madaline was amazing and truly made our stay unforgettable. She came by every day to cook, clean, and share great local recommendations, which made the experience feel so welcoming and stress-free. The home is located in a lively area with fantastic local restaurants, beautiful beaches, and plenty to explore just minutes away. It was fully equipped with everything we needed, making our stay comfortable and convenient. I would definitely stay here again!

Ya muchas personas han dicho maravillas de este lugar. No creo necesario repetirlas. Pero si quiero resaltar lo bonita, espaciosa y limpia que es la casa, la ubicación y, mucho más importante, la comunicación proveída por Maria y el servicio de Madelin durante nuestra estadía. Los desayunos fueron excelentes y deliciosos. Dependiendo de la época o el momento del día, Getsemaní puede ser un poco ruidoso, pero es posible descansar especialmente en las habitaciones del fondo. Todas están muy bien equipadas con AC y ventiladores. Definitivamente, recomendado para familias.

We had an amazing stay at Casa Sarda in Cartagena! The home was exactly as described beautiful, clean, comfortable, and full of character, with the perfect mix of historic charm and modern amenities. The location in Getsemaní was excellent. We always felt safe walking around, and the neighborhood is full of culture, great food, music, and easy access to Cartagena’s top attractions. A special thank you to Madeline, who stayed in touch throughout our stay, made us a delicious complimentary breakfast every morning, and ensured we had everything we needed. We also want to thank our host, Maria, who was incredibly responsive, attentive, and welcoming from start to finish. The home was well-maintained and truly felt like a home away from home. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Cartagena. Thank you for helping make our trip so memorable, we can’t wait to return!

We had a wonderful stay at this Getsemaní apartment in Cartagena. The space was very clean, cozy, and thoughtfully maintained, which made it feel like a true home away from home. The neighborhood was nice and quiet, yet full of vibrant street art and character, giving us a great sense of the local culture. It was also conveniently located just a short distance from the walled city, making it easy to explore. We felt very safe throughout our stay, especially with security present at night, which gave us peace of mind. The cleaning ladies were incredibly kind and attentive, and they prepared a delicious breakfast for us that we looked forward to each morning. One of the highlights was definitely the jacuzzi—it was perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring the city. Overall, we highly recommend this apartment for anyone looking for a comfortable, safe, and charming place to stay in Cartagena.

The best place! Our Housekeeper Madelin was perfect! Very responsive respectful and accommodating! The location was great! The breakfast every morning was just breathtaking!

Maria’s place is beautiful! The location is amazing - close to some amazing bars and restaurants but not too crazy or loud. Mary the housekeeper is also very accommodating and makes incredible breakfasts in the morning!

Gorgeous home! Breakfast by Marelyn was superb. She was a sweet heart and would clean the room and fold my clothes. I already miss Casa Sarda as today was my first morning home without a columbian style breakfast.

Great stay

I had a great experience staying at this Airbnb. The place was extremely clean and well-maintained, which made me feel comfortable right away. One of the highlights was the breakfast in the morning—it was fresh, delicious, and a perfect way to start the day.

Casa Sarda was lovely and breakfast was prepared daily with delicious choices. The ladies who care for the house were very nice and helpful. The only problem we had was that the city had a scheduled power outage for the whole day on Sunday which was very inconvenient and hot. Not the fault of our host at all but we didn’t know about it in advance and I would say some locations had generators but we didn’t not . Not a requirement but it would have been super helpful as we were attending a wedding that evening and it was hard to get ready without lights and air conditioning. I would stay here again and do recommend it

We had an amazing stay at Maria’s. It was in THE best location. We felt very safe and well taken care of. As well, Madelin was a fantastic caretaker and breakfast chef! I would definitely go back to this place with family and friends.

A great airbnb that is right near all the action but on a quieter street! Housekeeping was amazing and the breakfast provided was a real treat. Everything was in walking distance including the ports, bars, and walled city. Lots of room to be spread out and feel comfortable. 10/10 recommend!
