Great stay and amazing rooftop views. In the heart of the Walled City. Mark was a great host. 10/10 service from Oscar the butler, the chefs/cleaning ladies, and the security guards. They always made themselves available. Would highly recommend.

The description of the villa is accurate, close in proximity to all, walkable to everything. The staff is amazing. Ten stars for our Butler Oscar. The actual location of the building is a little less desirable. The vendors were relentless, always waiting for us to open the door to sell their goods. Pretty overwhelming. Air conditioning was excellent. Rooftop pool was amazing. Wi-Fi was spotty in master bedroom, couple of rooms had issues with showers flooding & no hot water. Mark was very responsive to any questions I had & took quick action to remedy any issues. The villa is massive & great for large groups.

If you have a big group definitely consider this house! PERFECT location and amazing staff that will help you with whatever you need. We had breakfast lunch and dinner prepared from the cooks each day for our group of 33. The host has many connections in the city and can link you with resources to help plan excursions, transportation, etc. A few things to note about the house: -There are 4 levels with bedrooms on each level, even the rooftop. -There isn’t an elevator so if guests aren’t comfortable climbing flights of stairs, they will need to be in one of the 1st floor rooms. -The room in the pics that has couches and a pool table is on the second floor. there’s a huge master bedroom w a king bed on this level as well as a spacious queen bedroom. -the 3rd floor has the other king bedrooms as well as rooms with queen beds. to our pleasant surprise, one of the bedrooms on this floor had 2 queen beds. -the 4th floor/rooftop has 3 queen bedrooms overall this place is great!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Mark's Place in Cartagena for a birthday celebration, and I can't recommend it highly enough! The property is stunning, with beautiful decor and more than enough space to comfortably accommodate our group. The views from the house were phenomenal, adding to the overall experience. The attention to detail and hospitality were exceptional. Our butler, Carlos, went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, making our stay even more enjoyable. Every aspect of our visit was wonderful, from the spacious layout to the breathtaking surroundings. I will definitely be returning to Mark's Place in the future. If you're looking for a fantastic getaway in Cartagena, this is the place to be!

If I can give Mark, his staff, and his place higher than 5 stars it would be a no brainer. Mark not only accommodated us at every request he also communicated effectively. Oscar and the staff were so efficient and polite at any request. It felt foreign to ask for someone to go to the store and get certain groceries but they did it with a smile and strongly requested that I ask them. Dinner by staff was amazing felt just like my grandmothers kitchen table. The house was spotless and they exceeded any stay I’ve been for their attention to detail. If i visit again, Mark would be the clear choice . I couldn’t see anyone else topping the experience.

You’re not going to find a more beautiful house with a better location than this in Cartageña. Mark and the entire staff were so accommodating to all of our needs during our stay. Jovana and her team prepared delicious meals for us on multiple occasions. The rooftop pool has an incredible view of the city and ocean. We cannot recommend this place any more highly!!

The house was very spacious and well-located. Everything was within walking distance! AC was strong which was definitely welcome given the hot and humid weather. I really appreciated how responsive Mark and his team were. Anytime I needed something, they responded within hours...sometimes faster. Need a boat? Call this guy. Need a bartender? Here you go along with a list of specialty cocktails. Private chef? No problem. Mark gave great recommendations and advice! The staff at the house were incredible and really made our stay and my birthday special. 24 hr security was a definite plus with 21 people arriving and going in/out at different times. There was always someone at the door. The maids made great meals! (just need to provide groceries) The staff helped set up a birthday surprise, decorated while we were out, and helped pick out a cake. They even escorted us to ATMs and negotiated on our behalf with some of the vendors outside! All in all, a great stay and highly recommended!
