Casa O Carbonera

Can’t recommend this place more. We were meet with fresh squeezed local fruit juices. Miquel and Margaret were there every morning to cook breakfast and answer questions and help with anything we wanted. We had the in house cook prepare dinner for us the first night which was out of this world and very affordable for a group of 9. Place was immaculately clean with everything we needed. Great roof top pool/hot tub and barbecue space. Each room nicely air conditioned which is important in Cartagena because it is so hot and humid all the time. Good communication before from the host and during the trip we had Miquel’s what’s app number for any concerns. Would give 10/5 stars!

The pictures truly do this place no justice! The smell when you first walk into the villa is honestly indescribable, it smells AMAZING. Miguel, Geraldine, and Maya were the absolute best and truly made this stay so amazing for me and my friends. 10000/10 experience and I will definitely be back!

My family and I had a phenomenal experience at Casa O Carbonera in Cartagena! We were a group of 10 adults and absolutely loved the boutique house. From our spacious rooms and on-suite bathrooms, to the hot tub/pool, to the marvelous service that both Joanna and Miguel provided us, our wonderful driver Luis, the security guard that kept us safe at night and to our delightful concierge Maya. The staff gave us their upmost attention and were very professional. We used our complementary ride that picked us up from the airport and the driver, Luis, ended up providing us multiple rides throughout our stay. Johanna cooked us the most delicious breakfasts and Miguel helped us with anything we needed. The Airbnb was located in a safe and central area within the Walled City. My family and I didn’t want to leave from the amazing experience we had! We wished to have stayed longer! Thank you Carlos and your team for making my family and I feel welcomed and for an unforgettable trip to Cartagena!

This is by far one of the best Airbnbs I have ever stayed at. Not only is the house beautiful, extremely clean and well decorated but the staff are the nicest people! Migue and Joana were beyond wonderful, they kept the house spotless, made the best breakfast but most importantly were so kind and friendly. We would stay at Casa Carbonara in heart beat again. We already miss it ❤️❤️

We loved staying in Casa O! Great communication with the hosts management team who helped out with surprise birthday decorations and always super responsive. We loved our in hour staff Miguel and Joanna, they were amazing!! I would highly consider staying with Casa O again.

Beautiful property, even better than it looks online. But what made our stay even better was the staff. They were outstanding. From the day we got there until the day we left. Highly recommend staying at Casa O.

This was by far the best Airbnb experience that I’ve ever had! Not only was the home a gorgeous and pristine living space, the team managing the home was phenomenal. Mayerlin was absolutely incredible and helped guide the planning process for my bachelorette. She offered great recommendations and made the process stress free! The other people that helped manage the home were super friendly and attentive as well. We woke up to a delicious complimentary breakfast every morning and they made sure to keep the Airbnb spotless for us. I cannot recommend this home enough! It was an amazing experience and if we ever come back to Cartagena we’ll be staying here again.

We had an amazing stay at this Airbnb. The house itself was beautifully decorated, clean, comfortable, and perfect for our group of 10. The location within the walls was unbeatable, it’s so easy to walk around explore the area. The transportation service with Ivan was so helpful, definitely a plus. The staff who prepared breakfast each morning were absolutely wonderful; kind, attentive, and so accommodating. One morning I wasn’t feeling well, and they went out of their way to make me a homemade chicken soup, which says everything about them. Truly a 10/10 stay for us. I would recommend this place without hesitation and would happily return!

This bnb is ridiculous. Would highly recommend. Only reason for not 5 stars is I booked a boat months in advance and they didn’t end up booking it until the day of and I missed two hours of the boat day. Insane crib

Our stay at the villa was excellent! The location is perfectly situated near the muralla and the serrezuela while also being close to lots of interesting points in centro, but on a quiet peaceful street. The rooms are very comfortable and all feature king size beds, comfortable linens and large, clean bathrooms. We were greeted upon our arrival by Johana and Miguel who assisted us each morning by making delicious breakfasts and juices. They also took extra care to help us with our baby and prepped meals separately for him to enjoy. Everything was tidy and clean and well-stocked to enjoy your time to the fullest. The pools were perfect to cool off in on a warm Cartagena afternoon, and the rooftop had a great view of the city and the sunset. Carlos was very easy to contact and responded quickly and always with lots of helpful information. We loved our stay here and would gladly return!

Absolutely beautiful place nestled within the walled city. The aesthetics, and decor of the place were stunning. The in house staff, and remote staff were a pleasure to deal with. The whole concierge service couldn’t have been more convenient for our purposes. Their driver, the boat rental, the housekeeper, our remote concierge all made our stay super easy. 10/10 would recommend staying!

Our stay was exceptional! Joanna and Miguel were amazing. The house was stunning and spotless, and having their help each morning felt like such a luxury. Joanna’s breakfasts were incredible.. I’m still thinking about them!!! All the rooms were beautiful, and we felt very safe. We hired security for two nights but canceled because it didn’t seem necessary. The only confusion was not realizing we needed to pay the guard directly, though we were able to send electronically afterward. The rooftop pool was a great place to relax; the only issue was the water leaving a yellowish stain on both swimsuits I brought, possibly from chlorine or another chemical. Maya was wonderful and always quick to respond, even late at night, when we needed help with last‑minute day‑trip bookings or early breakfast requests. Much appreciated!

Top to bottom, this place is a beauty. Don’t even hesitate, just book it. I can’t remember the staff attendants names, but they were VERY helpful with everything. I can see why the booking dates were going so quickly, if there were more days available we definitely would’ve booked a longer stay.
