Casa Mandala

The house is beautiful, comfortable, and very well designed. The décor is gorgeous, everything was extremely clean and well maintained, and the location honestly couldn’t be better—within just one or two blocks of some of the best restaurants in Cartagena. That being said, there is one important issue that I think should be made much clearer in the listing. The property is listed as an “entire house,” but in our experience, it did not feel private. There was a staff member in the kitchen/living room area essentially 24/7, which made it difficult to feel like we had the house to ourselves. On one occasion, while we were relaxing in the living room, a staff member began cooking their own meal in the kitchen. The cooking produced so much smoke and strong greasy odors that we ended up leaving the living room.

Desde la reserva nos agregaron a un grupo de Whats con atención impecable. Luisa nos recibió con un tour completo y recomendaciones. El staff, Heidi, Cecilio y Edison, siempre atentos y con la mejor actitud Fuimos de despedida de soltera y fue una experiencia que repetiría sin dudar

Great place even better team!

This place was everything we wanted it to be. It could fit a family trip or bachelorette get away. The food prepared by the staff was better than most restaurants we dined at. Well worth eating in. I know some may find around the clock staff a bit different, but we loved it. Someone was always available if we had a need. For instance, if we used the pool followed by the jacuzzi and my kids floated back to the pool, there weee fresh towels waiting without asking. Evening cocktails prepared on demand was a plus. We purchased the booze and supplies to prepare them. The unit smells like the Ritz Carlton- everywhere. The linens were great quality. The concierge recommended great guides. Back to the food- the friend snapper, coconut rice, fresh local fruit, and plantains- unbelievable!

The best location to enjoy Cartagena. The house is absolutely beautiful, with incredible taste and attention to detail in every space. Everything smelled amazing, and the entire home was spotless, perfectly maintained, and thoughtfully cared for. The staff made our stay even more special with their excellent service, kindness, and wonderful recommendations throughout the trip. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious every morning. A special thank you to Luisa, the house manager, who was incredibly attentive and always making sure everything was perfect. We would happily stay here again.

Stefany was a stellar and casa mandala was a great house for our week in caratagena. The staff was very helpful and nice.

Nothing bad to say about this place. The host and overall staff were exceptional and friendly. Pics are as advertised. I had a little trouble with the temp of the showers as it was warm vs hot but it was 35 degrees outside so nothing too worrisome. Planning a trip back to Cartenga and will hope I can book this place again.

Really an amazing place. Great service including daily cleanings/making of beds, washing dishes, cleaning up the house - better than hotel level comfort and service. We had them do the shopping and woke up to a fresh made breakfast daily. In hindsight we should have had them cook dinners as well. Additional concierge service coordinated our trips to the islands as well as anything else we needed. Pool was amazing great addition for the kids. The interior was even nicer than I expected. Had great AC and fans throughout the rooms to keep it cool. Location was great (we went to three great restaurants within a block of the house). Would gladly return.

Super luxurious home in the heart of Cartagena. Would highly recommend it.

Better than the photos! On a great street and very accommodating host and staff. The beds were very comfortable! We had a great time hanging out on the rooftop!

Everything was good, the house is really beautiful and well located. The only thing is, there's a guard inside the house 24/7 and it is not nice to have a guard a few meters from you all the time, some more privacy would be nice

We had the most amazing time in Cartagena! The villa was located on a quiet-ish street steps away from the busy exciting center of the walled city. The price included 24 hour staff with a fabulous cook and someone to open the door for us and provide directions and help when needed. We had 3 couples and a single the house fit us perfectly, the rooftop oasis was amazing. Hot tub, large out door dining table and a built in BBQ with fridges and a small freezer. We didn't use all of the amenities, but the Air conditioning was a welcome treat after a long day in the heat.

This house is incredible, its a dream house, right out of a magazine! The service was helpful and made for a very relaxing stay. Would highly recommend
