Casa Hobo

This is my second time staying with Mark. He is very accommodating and responsive. We had an issue with our original stay and Mark moved us to a new stay within an hour. If you plan on traveling to Cartagena you should most definitely book with him

Mark and his staff are excellent, and the location is truly unbeatable. However, the house is poorly maintained and in need of serious repairs. The bathrooms in particular, were very different from what was shown in the pictures.

Our stay was fantastic. The property was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully designed, creating a perfect balance of style and relaxation. Mark is an outstanding host professional, kind, and genuinely attentive which made us feel welcome and cared for from start to finish. As a host myself, I truly appreciate the effort it takes to provide such a seamless experience, and I was very impressed. I travel to Colombia every year and will definitely stay in one of Mark’s properties again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a trustworthy host and a true five-star stay.

Everything was great. Easy checkin. Fantastic location. Surrounded by everything you could need or want.

His chef Karen is a 1+ plus plus she really took care of us in the midst of our move to this house from the other house. She made sure we was OK the whole time if we needed a shuttle, she called a shuttle if we needed breakfast, she cooked breakfast if we needed dinner, she cook dinner And we really think her a whole lot for it.

We were scammed at a VRBO and we're stranded searching for a new place but luckily marks place was available and from booking to getting inside was only 30 minutes! Couldn't have been happier with the response time and the fact the staff had just cleaned and the place was ready to go. Onsite worker was fantastic and provided breakfast each morning. She did whatever we asked of her and she did a great job as well. Security at night was offered as well. One of the guards was a great guard while the other was very helpful with tips on where to go. They also had contacts for a different guide for everything you might want to do. We chose their ATV guide and had a great time riding on Isla Tierra Bomba. The same guide also hooked is up with an incredible day on the water in a huge boat exploring the rosario islands. The house was great and any time we needed anything the help was quick. Close to everything. Only knock was the pool area was small and had a weird smell. Otherwise perfect!

We loved it! Power was out on check in do to an area outs the and Mark and his staff were going to move us when the power came back on! Natalie our maid was absolutely amazing!! She made breakfast for us daily and clean all of our rooms! Our security guard made us feel so safe at night and he was so sweet! Only thing I could say is that the water pressure and temp is a little low when all bathrooms are in use at the same time but that is to be expected! We absolutely loved it here and had an amazing time for my bachelorette party! We had 14 women staying at the house and all of our needs were met, great food and we felt beyond safe!! Mark thank you again!!

Easy to find Excellent location for first times Night security and excellent housekeepers that prepare excellent meal for a small fee. I highly recommend you get meals prepared.

This place came with a lot of services attached that made it all worth every moment. Maid, security, maintenance team and even a handyman. Everyone was respectful and helpful which was worth our stay. Minor things to fix I would say… the hot water wasn’t hot water. The rooms needed more wash cloths and towels. But overall our laundry was done whenever needed. Shout out to Natalie the “Maid” who took care of us and the security whom I forgot his name.

The place is amazing, in the heart of everything. Host was great and had access to a lot of activities. I would stay again

Location, location, location. This place is in the heart of all action. We could easily walk to all the restaurants and bars and shopping, etc. The house itself is really nice but needs a bit of maintenance. Some of the bathrooms have hot water, others not so hot. Some had great water pressure, others did not. There were only 8 seats at the table so some of our group had to sit at the breakfast bar and not extra seats were provided. Also, we all love to cook and the kitchen needs some updated utensils. The best part was definitely Nati. She and her team were spectacular. We hired her to make dinner pretty much every night which was great. She made breakfast for us every morning and always left the house clean. Gabriel was also great. He arrived in the evening and made sure we were all safe. When we went out, he was always vigilant to see when we got back to have the door open for us which was great as we were only given one key. All in all, a great experience.
