Casa del Torno

This was by far the BEST Airbnb we have stayed in… it has exceeded our expectations!! Daniela was very responsive and helpful with everything especially with our friend’s birthday celebration. The home is impecable, beautiful and gave all of us a feel of being at our home. The location was perfect, close and walkable to everything but you’re in a space where your street is not crowded. The best was the staff at the home… Kelis, Jose and Enoc were THE BEST! They were always there offering their services, they made excellent breakfast every morning and we felt like they were part of our family. All in all, all 8 of us have felt sadness upon our departure because we were so in love with the week spent in Cartagena but agreed we need to come back and stay here again on an annual basis.

The pictures don’t do this space justice, it’s even more beautiful in person. The friendly staff, their kindness, and the breakfasts are stand outs. Will stay again when we return to Cartagena, it was just perfect for my family of 7! Even the grumpy teenagers were giddy when we stepped inside :) thank you!

Daniela and her team made our stay truly special. For a wedding, we came to celebrate with our family and from start to end, everything was just pristine. This accommodation is outstanding in every sense: clean, luxurious, private and located very central in the historic old town. It comes with 4 double rooms and on-suites, and a staffed home that will make every wish come true. The level of detail and attention you will notice here is just on another level. The home is beautifully restored, decorated and maintained, and we felt very safe and welcome at all times. Definitely a must-visit and we will for sure return!

There are not enough words to accurately describe how incredible my family and I’s stay was. We were there for my wedding weekend and all I can say is we will be returning for SO MANY years to come. Delsie and Jose were like family and I am forever grateful that we were able to stay in such a magical home. This house is a true reflection of Cartagena’s magic and people. There aren’t enough words to describe how amazing the experience is staying at Daniela’s villa. After reading reviews and seeing photos, we had high expectations, but we never imagined how far they would be exceeded. The villa is stunning, with every inch curated perfectly. The staff was beyond friendly and helpful, they made you feel at home and took care of every detail you can imagine. The pool, the breakfast, the luxurious bedrooms — everything was absolutely incredible. As for location, you could not pick a better spot in Cartagena. I truly could not recommend Casa del Torno enough. We feel lucky to have stayed there on our trip to Cartagena and we are hopeful that we can visit again sometime in the future!

This home is incredible and I highly recommend. I can't speak highly enough of Daniela, Jose, Delcy, and the other staff members. Everyone was highly responsive and they were able to quickly provide us with anything we needed. The food was great, the beds were incredibly comfortable, all the spaces were clean, the pool was amazing. Everything in this home was thoughtfully curated and decorated. You're close to great restaurants and shops as soon as you walk out the door but the house is peaceful and quiet. We stayed here with our 14-month old who slept great the entire time. Neither my review nor the pictures will do this place justice, you should book it.

Absolutely loved Daniela’s villa. It was absolutely better and somehow was even better in real life than the stunning photos. Such amazing friendly staff that go above and beyond and are so friendly and welcoming. So close to everything. Couldn’t ask for anything more !

If I could give Daniela's house 6 stars, I would. The house is as nice as any 5-star hotel I've stayed in. Everything is accurate to the photos, but it's the little things that truly made the difference -- complimentary robes in each room, high quality sheets and soap in the showers, and attentive, yet unobtrusive staff. The morning breakfast was a highlight of the trip for everyone in our family. The home is close to all the shopping and restaurants in the walled city, but just far enough from the center that you can get a good night's sleep. The home has incredible history and context (read the AD article!), with lots of fun details to discover. Daniela was incredibly helpful connecting us with a driver for excursions (check out the bird sanctuary in Baru), boat service to Rosario Islands, and more. Worth every penny. We hope to return!

Fantastic home very near Hotel Santa Clara and San Diego square. Very quiet yet very close to restaurants, bars, plaza. The house is beautiful with a wonderful pool to cool off in and has fabulous staff. The pictures are great but the house is even nicer. Great decor, very stylish, and comfortable. Each of the bedrooms is large and beautiful. The breakfasts were delicious. The value is also fabulous. It's much nicer than staying at the Santa Clara across the street yet much lower cost for a family. Daniela was great at answering all our questions. We have travelled all over the world and stayed in many great places and this is right at the top.

Unbeatable location. An oasis of calm and privacy in the middle of the action. You have everything at your doorstep. Once you step inside, it’s a wonderful private space to feel at home with friends and family. Top service from cleaning, cooking. Super friendly staff always friendly and ready to help. Every detail of the house is looked after, from linens to utensils to toiletries - meticulously curated and looked after. Loved our stay and both Daniela and the staff were fully vested in making sure we enjoyed it. Thank you!

Words cannot express how grateful I am to have spent 6 nights in this dreamy home with my family. I loved it so much, I did my wedding photos at the house which was a dream come true. Daniela is phenomenal, as well as the wonderful staff who take care of the home. Everything was so beautiful and historic. Every corner beautifully decorated. Having stayed at luxury properties from St. Barts, to Maldives, Daniela has created Magic with this house, which cannot be compared to anything I have seen. Please don’t think about booking, just do it!

I can’t say enough great things about this home! The energy, the vibes, the details, the staff! We have an amazing time here for a week- I didn’t want to leave! The staff were so great, they were attentive, the chef is amazing, and Jose is the best! Located right in the walled old city of Cartagena… this place is a GEM! 💎 Will be back soon! Possibly the best Airbnb we've ever stayed in. An absolute oasis of calm in a vibrant city. We couldn't quite believe how good it was when we arrived. Daniela was incredibly friendly and supportive throughout, and everything was clear. For all intents and purposes, it's like staying in a private 4 bedroom hotel. Staff on-hand to help with whatever we needed, a great breakfast each morning. Can't say enough good things.

This is by far the most beautiful home in Cartagena. The photos don’t even do it justice — the place is simply stunning, and there are intricate, beautiful details in every nook and corner of the home. The rooms are beautiful and clean, and the extreme attention to detail is clear from the moment you walk in. Everyone was just in awe. The house staff were wonderful and helpful. Communication with the host Daniela was great throughout. I used the home as my bridal suite for my wedding. It’s perfectly situated across from the Sofitel Legend (a convenient 1 min walk). The setting for bridal/getting ready photos and first look photos with my fiancé were a dream come true. I know our photographer was equally as elated to be able to shoot those moments here and we had a lot of fun finding creative spaces around the house. If you’re thinking to stay, don’t hesitate — it’s with every single penny!

We loved staying at Casa del Torno! The space, staff and attention to detail leave no room for complaint. Daniela was extremely responsive and accommodating. We absolutely loved sitting outside in the patio to hang out and catch up. Pictures sometimes are misleading but not in this case. Not only was it vibrant and wonderfully decorated but it was also very clean, roomy and a few steps to lots of restaurants. We will definitely stay at Casa del Torno again.

This is hands-down, the most beautiful airbnb I have ever stayed in. I came here for my 40th birthday, and it couldn't have been more perfect. It was peaceful and relaxing, exactly what I was looking for. Comfortable rooms and beds, gorgeous details and design in every corner of the house. We felt like we were in our own private boutique hotel. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They cooked amazing breakfasts for us each day and kept the house spotless.They even had a birthday cake and balloons for me upon arrival. Location was perfect, just far enough from the noise, but close enough to enjoy walks to the beautiful historic plazas and to wonderful restaurants. And the pool was a dream! Almost like a tropical paradise. It was amazing to be able to return from a long day of exploring and take a dip. Daniela was always responsive and helpful. Everything was just perfect. Thank you for making our stay so wonderful! Cannot wait to come back!

This place could not be more ideal. The house is the perfect mix of historic elements and modern, boho decor. The place is comfortable and beautiful, a saver during what was the hottest weather I have ever experienced. The staff really went above and beyond to give us a wonderful experience, and Daniela really was a kind guest. I would definitely recommend this beautiful and are hopping to be back myself
